Great product, poor service for the second time.

The product is fantastic, both the frames and the lens. The service is very poor.

I have ordered two pairs of glasses from Eyespecs on separate occasions. Both times I received the regular emails telling where the glasses were in the process, until the lens have arrived at the lab. Then there is a black hole of waiting and nothing happens. I then have to chase them and they effectively lie about what's happening with my order, meanwhile they have my cash in their bank. The emails complaining then seem to trigger action on their part, and I get a flurry of activity and everything seems to return to normal in terms of service. I do live in New Zealand and as such expect a longer service delivery timeframe. But waiting 2-3 weeks and hearing nothing after 'the lens have arrived in the lab' has nothing at all to do with where I live. In summary the frames and the lens are fantastic, the service is poor.

So good! At the top end of what I expected..

Wanted these entourage of 7 sunglasses and did them prescription to use HSA $ for them. Not being able to see them live and having everything virtual was a huge leap of faith given the cost of these, but they are super high quality glasses and lenses and definitely met/exceeded my expectations. It’s not a quick process to make the glasses so do expect the 2-3 week creation/processing timeline if you do prescriptions. All-in-all though, super pleased and worth the investment.
